4/4/10: Walgreens & KMART DOUBLERS!!!

A crazy slow week at Walgreens, but a good Kotex deal. Here's how I did:

Walgreens:

Total: $.07!!!

Total savings: $9.30!!!

I started with 5 $4RR and a $3RR.

I now have 5 $4RR and a $2.50RR.

1 Kotex U tampons, 18ct = $3.49
1 Pilot highlighter = $1.19
Filler item: 1 Royal pudding = $.39
Used $1/1 Kotex U product
Used $1/1 Pilot higlighter from Walgreens April coupon booklet
Used $3RR from last week
Total: $.07!!!
Total savings: $9.30!!!
PLUS I got back a $2.50RR from the Kotex!!!

Even though it's a slow week at Walgreens, Kmart is rocking the deals! Participating stores around the country are doubling coupons (up to $2.00) for a total of up to $4.00 off! There are some catches though:You must use a Shop Your Way Rewards Card (you can print off a temporary card); there is a limit 5 total coupons per customer per day; only includes Manufacturer Coupons up to $2, totaling a savings of $4; and it does not include Kmart Store Coupons or Pharmacy Store Coupon.

I have a SYW card, and so does my BF, so I was able to get the deals twice today. Here's how we did:

Kmart:

Total: $1.06!!!

Total savings: $40.01!!

Transaction 1: (did this once per card)
1 KC Masterpiece bbq = $1.99
1 Gillette bodywash, 12 oz = $4.00
1 Tampax Pearl, 18 ct = $4.49
1 Dove Ultimate deodorant = $3.79
1 Visine = $3.99
Used $1/1 KC Masterpiece 3/14SS (doubled to $1.99)
Used $2/1 Gillette bodywash 3/7PG (doubled to $4.00)
Used $2/1 Tampax Pearl 3/7PG (doubled to $4.00)
Used $2/1 Dove Ultimate deodorant (doubled to $3.79)
Used $2/1 Visine (FF) (IE) (doubled to $3.99)
Total: $.53!!!
Total savings: $17.77!!!

PLUS when I checked out, I got a coupon for a free Reeses peanut butter cup!

Transaction 2:
1 Reese's peanut butter cup = $.67
2 RightGuard deodorants = $2/2
Used free candy coupon
Used $2/2 Right guard (n/a) $1.50/1 here
Total: ZERO
Total savings: $4.47!!!
