Walgreens 7/10/10

I usually don't go to Walgreens on Saturday, but I have a lot of RR that expire next week from the previous 4-day sale. I looked at the ad scan of tomorrow's ad and none of the deals popped out at me. Instead of letting the RR expire, I checked around the house and saw we needed a few items, so I went today and picked them up.

Walgreens:

Total: $1.53!!!
Total savings: $24.25!!!
I started with 2 $5RR, 9 $3RR and 1 $1RR. ($38RR)
I now have 2 $5RR, 5 $3RR, and 2 $2RR. ($29RR)

Transaction 1:
1 Colgate toothbrush = $2.99
1 Viva papertowel = $6.99
2 Filler items: Inkpens  = $.38/2
Used $.75/1 Colgate toothbrush from July All You magazine
Used 3 $3RR from Crest deal
Total: $.63!!!
Total savings: $12.85!!!
PLUS I got back a $2RR from the Colgate!

Transaction 2:
1 Colgate toothbrush = $2.99
1 Duracell AA batteries = $2.99 with in-ad coupon
Used $.75/1 Colgate toothbrush from July All You magazine
Used $.75/1 Duracell PG 7/4
Used 1 $3RR from Crest deal and 1 $1RR from Sure deodorant deal
Total: $.90!!!
Total savings: $11.40!!!
PLUS I got back a $2RR from the Colgate!

I still have 5 $3RR ($15) that I have to use up this week; better find some more things we need!
